Family time just got a lot more exciting

Our 2-Hour Family Buggy Adventure is specially designed for families with children and riders of all experience levels. With Comfortable 4-seater buggies and a local guide, this tour offers a fun, safe, and educational way to explore the dramatic volcanic landscape around Grindavík. 


Drive along nice lava trails, stop at a lava beach, and take in the views of Iceland's wild coastline. We take frequent photo stops and make sure the pace is comfortable for kids and first-time drivers.


The price is per Buggy


No prior off-road experience is needed. Our Buggies are automatic, easy to handle, and fully equipped with seat belts and safety gear.

Note we only have four buggies available but four people can sit in each so 16 people in total.

Age limit: 6 years, but driver´s license is required for Buggy driver.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start time.

      Please note

        Driver must hold a valid driver's licence minimum age to drive a vehicle in Iceland is 17 years old.

        Minimum age for passengers is 6 years old(children must fit helmet and seat belts.

        warm clothing is recommended we provide overalls, helmets and gloves.

        Meeting point: our base in Grindavík

        Pick up in the Grindavík area is included- please request when booking

        pick up from Keflavík is available for an extra fee

        All participants must sign a liability waiver

        This is a family friendly tour the guide will adjust the pace and route to suit the group.

        What to bring

          Warm layers base layer, fleece, or sweater. weather changes fast.

          Comfortable shoes closed toe, sneakers or hiking boots.

          Gloves we provide gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own.

          Camera or phone for photos at stops.
